Abstract : My article's main objective is to analyze how does Dreiser's Naturalistic style be exposed through the character Carrie Meeber in Sister Carrie.

Theodore Dreiser is one of America's greatest writers, and its greatest naturalistic writer. With the publication of Sister Carrie in 1900 ,Dreiser committed his literary force to opening the new ground of American naturalism .His heroes and heroines ,his setting settings ,his frank discussion ,celebration ,and humanization of sex ,his clear dissection of the mechanistic brutality of American society .All were new and shocking to a reading public reared on genteel romances and adventure narratives .Following I'll analyze how does Dreiser's naturalistic style be mirrored in the protagonist Carrie Meeber in Sister Carrie .
This novel is a biography of Dreiser himself .It tells us about his life and how he views the world around him.
As had mentioned, Dreiser is a naturalist because his works are filled with naturalistic style namely Naturalism.
Naturalism should proper be reserved to designate a literature movement in the late 19th and early 20th centuries in France, America ,and England.
