摘要：语言属于文化。由于社会、历史、地理、民族、文学艺术、宗教、习俗等诸多方面的差异，中西文化的差异是不可避免的现象，这导致了英汉颜色词的理解和使用上的差异。瑞恩有自己的审美情趣，认识这些文化语言的差异，对于学习或掌握英语，促进中西方理解和交流，是一个很有意义的问题。

一.引言 英汉两种语言都有丰富的颜色词词汇，范围基本一致，具有共同的理性概念。然而，由于各种不同的条件有助于我们理解这个绚丽多彩的世界，我们不得不正视许多国家和民族之间颜色词的使用和选择存在差异。

Abstrac：Language belongs to culture. The differences of Sino-west culture are the inevitable phenomenon because of the divergences among society, history , geography , nationality , literature art , religion , convention etc, which result in the divergence of color words understanding and usage between English and Chinese however, everyone has his or her aesthetic sentiment .It could be a significant question to recognize these divergences of cultural language in order to study or grasp English language and facilitate the Sino-west understanding and communication.
